About National Institute of Open Schooling ( NIOS )
National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has declared the notification for the admission in secondary (10th) and Senior Secondary (12th); applications are invited before last date. Aspirants who want to get admission in class X and class XII they hurry up and fill application form and get admission in NIOS. Interested candidates may fill application form on or before 10th March with Late Fee. Further information about this notification is given below through further notification.

Admission for- 10th / 12th

Qualification- 8th,9th and 10th fail / 12th fail

Last Date to apply - 31December 2014

Eligibility Criteria- In NIOS Secondary (Class X)/ Sr.Secondary Courses (xII)

Age Limit-Candidate s age must have 14 years as on Date of Application Submission.

Qualification-Candidates should be VIII passed from reputed Board

In NIOS Senior Secondary (Class XII)

Age Limit- Candidate s age must have 16 years as on Date of Application Submission.

Qualification- Candidates must have X passed from recognized board.

Schedule of submission of TMA for the session 2016-17
TMA By learner to study centre -15st February(  Last date)
If last date so specified happens to be a public holiday/Saturday/Sunday, the next working day will Automatically be treated as last date for the purpose.
How to prepare Answer Script for TMAs?
In the booklet you will find one assignment in each subject. You are required to complete the assignment in your own handwriting in the chosen y study canter (AI).
You will notice that TMA is for 20 marks. Question 1,2 and 3, comprise of short answer questions. Each question has four choices of which you have to attempt only one i.e. 2+2+2=6 marks.
Question 4 and 5 are long answer question of 4 marks each. You have to answer only one question out of the four given. Thus question 4 and 5 are for 8 marks (4+4=8).
Question no.-6 given you a list of four projects of which you have to attempt only one. This question will be for 6marks. The guidelines for each project works are given with the topic set.
